The Dutch side chased down the hosts' 149-run target in just 37 overs, losing three wickets in the process. Colin Ackermann, who was named the Player of the Match, and skipper Scott Edwards remained unbeaten with fifties to both their names.

Earlier, Paul van Meekeren, Aryan Dutt and Kyle Klein snared three wickets apiece to help bundle out Namibia for 148 runs in 44.5 overs. Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus was the only batter to wage resistance from the home team, scoring 63 off 102 balls.

Namibia entered this match on the back of a heartbreaking Super Over loss to Canada. Allotted a revised (DLS) target of 175 runs in 39 overs, Gerhard Erasmus's side was dismissed for 174 runs in 39 overs, leading to a tied game. In the Super Over, Namibia lost both wickets for four runs and Canada chased it down off three balls.

The previous game for Netherlands, on the other hand, was abandoned due to rain against Canada. Scott Edwards' side is now placed second in the points table with 20 points from 16 games so far, while Namibia are sixth with 12 points from 19 encounters.
