Steve Smith-led Australia defeated Sri Lanka by nine wickets in the 2nd Test, to win the series 2-0. Earlier, the hosts resuming at 211/8 from day 3, lost skipper Kusal Mendis early on day 4 on 50.
The visitors wasted no time whatsoever, to finish off the tail, as the Lankans were bowled out for 231, handing a lead of 75.
In reply, Aussies started off well with Travis Head and Usman Khawaja (27 not out) striking off neatly. Head was dismissed for 20 but Marnus Labuschagne (26 not out) made sure there were no more hiccups as they coasted to victory.
