There's a familian connect between the two teams, with twins Qasem Lajami and Ali Lajami named in the Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Nassr benches respectively. The defenders will likely get some minutes in tonight's match, but who will end the night the happier of the two?

After some early pressure from Al-Nassr, it is Al-Qadisiyah who have gone forward in the first 10 minutes. Aubameyang's pace is proving too much for Laporte and Simakan, and the Gabon striker came the closest, getting goalside and shooting towards the bottom left, but going just wide of the post.

The home side are showing that attack is the best for of defence, and Turki Al Ammar cuts in from the left side and attempts a shot, but the contact is not the cleanest, and Krepski is not troubled.

Al-Nassr counter, but Qadisiyah defender Abu Al Shamat prevents Cristiano Ronaldo from breaking through down the left flank.

Al-Nassr have found their footing, somewhat, and Sadio Mane finds Ali Al-Hassan from the left side, and the midfielder lets go. The shot is powerful but straight at Koen Casteels. Routine save for the Belgian.

Al-Qadisiyah's number 10 has been their best player so far, and Aubmayeng gets another attempt on target, flicking a cross from the right side right side by Nahitan Nandez, but it's straight at Bento. The home side are looking more threatening at the moment.

Cristiano Ronaldo wins a freekick some distance away from the box after the Portugese is fouled. Ronaldo opts against going for goal, instead floating it in the box. It finds Sadio Mane, running in from the left side, and the Senegalese heads it way wide. There would have been a question of offside had it gone it, but Mane wouldn't have known that. Stefano Pioli can't believe it.

Nacho earns himself a booking for a late challenge on Jhon Duran, becomign the second Qadisiyah player to get a yellow card after Ignacio Fernandez was booked for a shirt pull.

Al-Qadisiyah are playing well, dictacting proceedings so far, but they have to be careful.

Oh, that's close! Ronaldo turns provider once again, playting Sadio Mane through down the left hand side. The Senegalese might be offisde, but he plays the ball across the face of the goal, and Duran tries to poke it home under pressure from the Qadisiyah defence, but it goes wide. The flag goes up for Mane, saving the Colombian's blushes.

Meanwhile, Mane is shown a yellow card, but the reason is unknown. Maybe he said something to the ref?

Marcelo Brozovic goes at it alone, finding some space in the middle of the park. The Croatian hits it low and hard, but Koen Casteels holds on to it.

Turki Al Ammar gives the home side the lead, but it's all Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng! The Gabon striker beat the Al-Nassr defence and hit it from the right side towards the far side post, and Bento seems to misjudge it, getting half an right hand on it. The ball flicks from the keeper's gloves and falls kindly for the onrushing Al Ammar, who pokes it home -- his fourth goal of the season. The home crowd on the other end of the stadium erupt in joy!

QAD 1-0 NAS (35')

Nahitan Nandez gets the slightest bit of contact on Sadio Mane, and the forward makes the most of it falling down theatrically. The referee flashes yet another yellow card, and the Uruguayan can't believe that he has been booked.

Cristiano Ronaldo takes the ensuing freekick from the left-side of the box, but it's pushed over the bar by the wall. He gets another chance from the corner as Brozovic's ball finds him on the right side, but he can't get a clean header, and it spins wide.

Three minutes of added time tacked on by the fourth official.

Referee blows the half-time whistle, and Al Qadisyah go to the dresing room a goal ahead. Pioli needs to rejuvinate his players. There's work to do for the away side.

Bothh teams are down on the pitch, and the referee blows the whistle and the second half is underway! No half time changes for either team.

An early opening for Julian Quinones. The Mexican is played through by Aubameyang, and he tries to curl one in towards the right post, but Bento is on it -- the Brazilian gets down and holds the ball.

Jhon Duran goes down after a challenge with Ignacio Fernandez, and the Colombian lands awkwardly. He is down in pain, and the physio comes on. Thankfully, the young striker gets up on his feet.

Meanwhile, Gaston Alvarez gets his name taken by the referee for the first yellow card of the second half -- and the sixth of the game so far. Card happy is one way to call tonight's referee Szymon Marciniak. The question is: Will we see a red tonight?

How did Jhon Duran miss by THAT much? A cross into the box by Sadio Mane is met by Cristiano Ronaldo, who fails to bring the ball down and it falls to the Colombian's feet. With just the goalkeeper in front of him and barely ten yards from goal, Duran wildly swings his foot at the ball and skies it over.

That's Al-Nassr's best chance so far in the game, and Duran has to hit the target with that. Horrible game for the youngster so far.

A very good ball in from the left side by Otavio, and three Al-Nassr players challenge for it. Sadio Mane is the one who gets his head on the ball, and its a good header but an even better save from Casteels, who tips it over the bar.

The flag goes up -- all three of Al-Nassr's players were offside -- but the Belgian keeper's save is top class as he chases a league-record 14th clean sheet.

After a period of sustained pressure from Al-Nassr, Al-Qadisiyah show their potency in the counter, breaking forward down the right-hand side through Abu Al Shamat. The full-back puts in a lofted cross, and Bento looks to parry it but gets it all wrong, barely getting his fingers to the ball as it misses the onrushing Quinones by inches.

Aubameyang creates something from nothing again. The veteran striker gets the ball after Abu Al Shamat wins the ball in a fifty-fifty, and lets go from the right-side edge near the box. Bento goes flying, unsure if the ball is going in, but its not close -- not too far either -- from the top bar.

A foul on Nawaf Al-Boushail earns Abu Al Shamat a booking. Turki Al Ammar joins him in the book, conceding a foul just before coming off. How many yellow cards will we end the match with?

A brilliantly floated ball from Brozovic from a set-piece situation, and it finds Aymeric Laporte at the left side of the box. The Spaniard has a competely free header but gets too much underneath, and the ball flies over the bar. The flag goes up, but Laporte contests that call -- not htat it matters.

QAD 1-0 NAS (83')

Late drama!! Al-Nassr, who have been the second best team tonight, get a lifeline. A fanstastic ball from Otavio -- floated in from near the half-way line -- finds Sadio Mane in the box. The Senegalese gets in behind the defenders and his finish is exquisite, sending Casteels the wrong way.

QAD 1-1 NAS (84')

Wow!! It's end-to-end stuff here. A terrific flick from Nahitan Nandez, who holds off pressure from the Al-Nassr defence. It finds Aubameyang, whose header is pinpoint in accuracy. Al-Qadisiyah restore their lead just three minutes after Mane's goal.

Questions need to be asked of Bento. The goalkeeper's error led to the first goal, and he is again at fault. The Brazilian charged way to early when Nandez had the ball, and his flick left the goalkeeper in no man's land as Aubameyang headed the ball into an empty net.

QAD 2-1 NAS (87')

The fourth-official has added SEVEN minutes, and Al-Nassr still have a chance to get the equaliser. It's not looking likely though.

A couple of injury breaks to Jehad Thikri and Aubameyang means that we are up to almost 10 minutes of added time.

Finally, referee Szymon Marciniak blows the full-time whistle, and it all comes to an end. What a trilling match between Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Nassr, and after some late drama, the home side do the domestic double over Cristiano Ronaldo's side, winning by 2-1.

QAD 2-1 NAS (FT)

After tonight's win, Al-Qadisiyah maintain their top-four push. They are currently in fifth place, tied on 55 points with fourth-placed Al-Ahli, who won against Al Feiha tonight.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr remain third with 57 points, but tonight's loss means that they eight points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad with just six more games to go.
