It now looks like the 32-year-old will move to MLS franchise Chicago Fire, with his Saudi Arabia nightmare close to its conclusion.
Neymar has made just two substitute appearances in the AFC Champions League for Al-Hilal this season, while injuries also restricted him to just three league appearances in 2023-24.
Going forward, it looks like Neymar's chances of making any sort of contribution for Jorge Jesus' side will be minimal at best, after the head coach opted not to register him.
Quoted in The Mirror, Jesus said: "The Saudi League is one of the best leagues in the바카라 웹사이트world. All Al-Hilal players can play for any club in Europe. Neymar can no longer play at the level we are used to.
"Things have become difficult for him, unfortunately. He is still under contract with Al-Hilal, and it may be up to him to decide his future.
"It depends on the administration. I don't know anything about Neymar's future. We have a place available on the list, reserved for a player born in 2003 or later."
Neymar has now been added to Chicago Fire's Discovery List, meaning that no other MLS franchise can sign or hold talks with him unless it is cleared바카라 웹사이트by them.
