Meanwhile, NorthEast United have thrashed East Bengal 4-0 in the first game of the day in Shillong.

The two teams have played nine matches against each other, with FC Goa winning thrice and Mohun Bagan Super Giant emerging victorious five times. Only one match has produced a draw.

Here we go then. Mohun Bagan in 4-1-4-1 formation while FC Goa in 4-2-3-1 formation. The shield is already decided but it is still a battle of prestige.

31' Back-to-back shots from FC Goa. Iker Guarrotxena is blocked on the first attempt and then Borja Herrera gets the ball only to fire it wide and miss the post totally.

45' Manvir Singh almost takes the Maariners ahead but seems like the deadlock will remain till the half-time.

Mohun Bagan should have taken the lead but both sides go into the break without troubling the scorers.

51' FC Goa's Borja Herrera aims at the goal from long range but can not trouble the Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Singh much.

60' Borja Herrera consistently keeping the Mohun Bagan defence on its toes. This time he delivers a pass to Udanta Singh who gets his shot on the goal but the attempt has been saved.

Mohun Bagan take lead via an own goal! This is definitely not what Goa would have wanted. Boris Singh's touch sneaks into his own goal and Mohun Bagan celebrate. Singh has headed Tom Aldred's long ball into his own goal! What a moment in the game.

80' The game seems to be slipping out of Goa's hands. That one mistake might cost them the game. There is still time though. Can the Gaurs stage a comeback?

84' Anirudh Thapa comes close to double Mohun Bagan's lead but his shot is a bit too high and does not trouble the Gaurs goalkeeper.

90' Dejan Drazic shoots a little high now. Goa continue to not convert the chances they are getting. They might not get many more now. Meanwhile, five minutes added to the game.

Greg Stewart finds the net and that shuts down the game then. Jason Cummings with the pass inside the box and Stewart slots the ball into the bottom left corner to double Mohun Bagan's lead.

Mohun Bagan beat FC Goa 2-0.

Boris Singh conceded an own goal to give Mohun Bagan the lead and then in the injury time, Greg Stewart doubled the lead for hosts. The Mariners will now lift the League Shield.
