There were many moments in the game that got the heart rate racing but none other than Son Heung-min's Olympic goal in the 88th minute of the fixture.

Spurs eventually went onto win the game 4-3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and also progressed to the semi-final stage of the competition.

What is an Olimpico goal?

There have been goals through the years that have been scored directly from a corner, and yes, despite it being rare, it does have a name, olympico.

To explain further, a corner kick is a set piece taken from the corner of the football pitch after the ball exits the play following a touch of the defender via the goal line.

Why is it called Olimpico?

In 1924, Argentina라이브 바카라 Cesareo Onzari scored against reigning Olympic champions Uruguay from a direct corner kick, and ever since, the goal was called Gol Olimpico.

Talking about the game, Tottenham were on the front foot, right from the get-go as Dominic Solanke opened the scoring in the 15th minute.

Dejan Kulusevski doubled Spurs’ lead early on in the second half, while Solanke tripled it in the 54th minute.

United, however, fought and drew back two goals, thanks to Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo, but Son ended their hopes in the 88th minute by scoring the olympico.
