Messi and Inter Miami have been stopped and Vancouver Whitecaps win the first leg of this semifinal 2-0. A big victory. They have scored two goals and stopped Inter Miami from scoring an away goal. Inter Miami controlled proceedings, especially in the opening half, but none of them meant anything as it could not create any impact on the scoresheet. Whitecaps scored once in the 24th minute and then minutes before the full-time whistle and will now go into the second leg with a 2-0 lead.
