Freiburg 1-2 Bayern Munich: Kane Breaks Open-Play Drought in Crucial Win

Finally, Harry Kane ended his open-play goal drought with a first-half strike handing Bayern Munich a 2-1 victory at Freiburg to extend their Bundesliga lead to six points. Kane who had scored only two penalties in the six Bundesliga games since, made an early goal in the game which was followed by Kim Min-jae's second after the break. Despite Matthias Ginter's header pulling one back for Freiburg in the 69th minute, Bayern held firm for their best league start in nine years, with 48 points after 19 rounds.
