India missed their full-time captain Harmanpreet Singh against a young German side which played brilliantly to secure a big win over the Amit Rohidas-led side. Gurjant Singh scored the only goal in the match in the first quarter.
Head coach Craig Fulton looked very disappointed with India's loss on Tuesday and is expected to develop a new plan for the next time these two teams meet. Harmanpreet's availability is yet to be confirmed by the team management.
Germany will try to repeat the results but India's men's team is expected to learn from their mistakes and bounce back on Wednesday. They have won only one out of three games so far and stand in eighth place in the points table.
