The UAE Tour was first started in 2019, when the two races, the Abu Dhabi Tour and the Dubai Tour merged together.
Primoz Roglic won the inaugural race, while in 2022, Tadej Pogacar clinched the overall title, making it two on the bounce making it a 2021 replay.
In 2023, Remco Evenepoel took home the title, beating Luke Plapp and Adam Yates, handing the British cyclist another heartache.
