Washington DC Plane Crash: Figure Skating Community Mourns Loss Of Former Champions, Future Stars

Global figure skating라이브 바카라 community was mourning after a passenger jet crash in Washington killed two former world champion coaches and two upcoming superstars from the United States. (More Sports News)

Former Russian world pair champions Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov and 14 more young, skilled American skaters passed away when a commercial jet collided with an US Army helicopter on Wednesday night.

Donald Trump on Thursday announced there were no survivors after the collision over the Potomac River. 

Nancy Kerrigan, a former US women라이브 바카라 champion and two-time Olympic and world medalist was also among the people who perished.

A 13-year-old figure skater Jinna Han was among the victims, along with her mother, Jin Han.

The chief executive of the The Skating Club of Boston, came forward to confirm that six club members were on air during the fatal crash.

The passengers were returning from the United States Figure Skating national development camp in Wichita.

The accident also revived the dark memories of the 1961 February tragedy that involved the US figure skating squad, half of which were from the Boston club.

The 18-member squad were bound for the Prague world championships died in a crash as it prepared to land in Brussels.
