The tournament will feature battles from top para-athletes around the world, with an estimated 283 athletes from 20 countries participating. Among these, 145 are Indian and 105 international competitors.
India's campaign will be spearheaded by top para-athletes, including the Paris Paralympics 2024 gold medallists Praveen Kumar (High Jump, T64), Navdeep Singh (Javelin, F41) and Dharambir (Club Throw, F51).
Ravi Rangoli who clinched gold at the recently concluded National Para Athletics Championships and finished fifth at the Paris Paralympics will also take the stage in New Delhi.
India's contingent are coming off with confidence, having secured 14 medals (5 Gold, 6 Silver, and 3 Bronze) at the recently concluded Dubai Grand Prix.
