Djere triumphed 6-4 3-6 7-5 over Baez, who was aiming for a second trophy in as many weeks after winning the Rio Open last month.

After taking a set apiece, Djere and Baez traded four successive breaks in a dramatic decider, with the Serbian missing an opportunity to serve out the contest at 5-3.

But after Baez held to love to make it 5-5, Djere found a second wind and won eight of the last 10 points to clinch the trophy, converting match point when his opponent sliced a forehand long.

Data Debrief: Djere ends long wait

Djere's last ATP title had come at the Sardegna Open in October 2020, when he beat Marco Cecchinato in straight sets in the final.

His victory on Sunday means the 2025 season has already seen two players win an ATP title five years on from their last trophy, with Miomir Kecmanovic also doing so (Kitzbuhel 2020, Delray Beach 2025).
