Qatar Open 2025: Jack Draper Admits Andrey Rublev 'Was Too Good’ After Final Defeat

Fifth seed Rublev won the tournament for a second time – having also triumphed in 2020 – with a 7-5 5-7 6-1 victory in two hours and six minutes on Saturday.

The Russian wrestled back control after losing the second set, overpowering Draper as he struck 34 winners throughout the contest.

Back-to-back breaks to open the final set put Rublev well on course for victory, and Draper conceded in his post-match interview there was little he could do to counter the world number 10, who will move up a place in the ATP rankings next week.

Rublev now has six ATP-500 level titles, with this his first since he triumphed in Dubai three years ago.

He said: "It feels amazing. It's my first ever title that I won twice. I'm really happy. I think both of us were really tired after two three-set matches that finished late.바카라 웹사이트

"We were exhausted and it was difficult, but somehow we were able to play at a good level. When I lost the second set, I let it go and started to play more freely.

"I was really good mentally and didn't let frustration get over me. As soon as I was frustrated, I was able to start again and I was able to play at the same intensity."바카라 웹사이트
