In the second semi-final, Jiri Lehecka of Czechia will take on second-seed Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria. Unseeded Lehecka defeated Nicolas Jarry of Chile 6-4, 6-4 while Dimitrov made the last four following local hope Jordan Thompson's retirement due to injury.
The Brisbane International, an ATP Tour 250 event, is part of the Australian Open Series. The season-opening Grand Slam in Melbourne starts on January 12.
