UEFA Europa League 2024-25 Quarter-Final Leg 2 Wrap: Bodo/Glimt Beat Lazio On Pens, Athletic Bilbao Dominate Rangers

Bodo/Glimt created history by becoming the first Norwegian club to reach a European semi-final, overcoming Lazio in a dramatic penalty shootout in the second leg match of the UEFA Europa League 2024-25, after a 3-1 loss in Rome levelled the aggregate score. Despite being reduced to ten men after a dramatic late equaliser, Bodo/Glimt held their nerves and triumphed 3-2 in the resulting penalty shootout. Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao defeated Rangers 2-0 at San Mames, with goals from Oihan Sancet and Nico Williams, securing their spot in the semi-finals.
