Six riders in Germany라이브 바카라 track cycling team were treated in a hospital on Monday after being struck by a car driven by an 89-year-old man. Their injuries were not life-threatening though included multiple fractures, the team said in a statement.

The six injured men included 2024 track world championship medalists Benjamin Boos and Bruno Kessler. The individual riders’ injuries were not specified. They were among a larger group on a morning training ride on the Spanish island of Mallorca, preparing for the European track championships next month in Belgium.

The riders were struck head-on by the car in an incident seen by team coaches. (AP)

Saudi Arabia club Al-Hilal said it reached an agreement with striker Neymar to terminate his contract by mutual consent. Both goals came in the first half from two Brazilian strikers taking the centrestage.

Cledson Carvalho da Silva (33rd minute) scored his seventh I-League goal for Namdhari before William Alves (45th) equalised at the stroke of half-time for Sreenidi Deccan.

Namdhari remained at the top of the table with 21 points from 11 games, but Churchill Brothers can overtake them should they beat Real Kashmir on Thursday.

A modest but colourful opening ceremony showcasing Uttarakhand's religious heritage and bio-diversity kicked off the 38th National Games here on Tuesday with guest of honour Prime Minister Narendra Modi using the opportunity to reiterate his government's ambitious plan of hosting the 2036 Olympics.

Around 10,000 athletes are gearing up to compete for podium finishes across 32 disciplines in the Games that will run till February 14. Events will be held across seven cities of the hill state with Dehradun being the main venue. (PTI)
