In an interesting development, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make his debut on gaming screens. The legendary footballer on Wednesday announced his debut as a playable character in the fighting game series, Fatal Fury. (More Sports News)
Ronaldo took to social media to make this interesting announcement.
“Big news to share with everyone today! I'm going to be a character in the new fighting game FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves! @FATALFURY_PR Let's have some fun on April 24th!,” said Ronaldo in a post on social media platform X.
The five-time Ballon D'Or winner also uploaded a teaser of the game which showed him as a playing character.
Ronaldo will be seen in the upcoming game 'Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves' which marks the return of the franchise after a wait of 26 years. 'Garou: Mark of the Wolves' was the last game in the franchise and it came out way back in 1999.
The Portuguese legend will be wearing a red-and-green outfit, the colours that match to his national side's jersey. His outfit in the game will also have his iconic number seven printed on it and he will also sport the captain's armband which is wears when he leads the Portuguese side.
The teaser also shows that Ronaldo's character will use his footballing skills in fights and his martial arts moves will be combined with his striking prowess on the field.
The game will be released on April 24, 2025.
