Sean Baker라이브 바카라 internationally acclaimed independent film Anora swept the 97th Academy Awards, winning five Oscars: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Editing and Best Actress. The dark romantic-comedy will be screened at the Red Lorry Film Festival, reports ANI.
Anora was nominated for six Oscars, and receiving five was indeed a huge achievement for a low-budget film that was just made in 6 million USD. Mikey Madison, who competed with some of the top contenders like Demi Moore, triumphed with the Best Actress award, her first Oscar win, at the age of 25.

The film festival will also feature Spanish-language French musical crime film Emilia Perez, that bagged two Oscars, Best Supporting Actress for Zoe Saldana, and Best Original Song for El Mal. I'm Still Here, which won Best International Feature Film will also be screened at the film festival.
It will also feature other acclaimed movies including I am Nevenka, The Outrun, Misericordia and Universal Language.
The second edition of the Red Lorry Film Festival starts from March 21 to 23, 2025, at Maison INOX at Jio World Plaza and Maison PVR at Jio World Drive, state-of-the-art cinemas in Mumbai, with 120+ film screenings. It is making its debut in Hyderabad at Prasads Multiplex with 70 film screenings.
