Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, will release in India six days before its release in the US, Paramount Pictures India announced on Friday.
The eighth and final installment of the blockbuster action franchise, will see Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise reprising his iconic character Ethan Hunt.
Mission Impossible: 8 will release in India on May 17, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The trailer for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning was unveiled on April 7. Cruise's Ethan Hunt returns to embark on yet another high-octane ride, with some more death-defying stunts. Hunt is back with his battle against the powerful AI, called the 'Entity'. He requests his team to “trust him one last time.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will be screened out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival, on May 14.
Alongside Tom Cruise, the action spy thriller also stars Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Shea Wigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, and Pom Klementieff, among others.
Hannah Waddingham, Katy O’Brian, Tramell Tillman, Nick Offerman, Lucy Tulugarjuk, and Stephen Oyoung are the new additions to the franchise.
It is directed by Christopher McQuarrie. He also wrote the screenplay with Erik Jendresen.
MI:8 is all set to release theatrically on May 21 in France and May 23 in the US.
