IIFA 2025 To Honour 50 Years Of Sholay; Deets Inside

IFA 2025 is scheduled to take place at Jaipur라이브 바카라 legendary Raj Mandir Cinema from March 8 to March 9, where it will have an exclusive screening of Sholay.

The 25th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) will have a special celebration of Ramesh Sippy라이브 바카라 cult movie, Sholay, which completes 50 years of its release this August.

IIFA 2025 is scheduled to take place at Jaipur라이브 바카라 legendary Raj Mandir Cinema from March 8 to March 9, and to mark the 50th anniversary of Sholay, the organisers have decided to have an exclusive screening of the film, reports ANI.

Andre Timmins, Co-Founder of IIFA, sharing his excitement says, “IIFA 2025 is not just a celebration–it라이브 바카라 a journey through time, honouring 50 years of Sholay at Jaipur라이브 바카라 iconic Raj Mandir. As we mark IIFA라이브 바카라 Silver Jubilee, we are celebrating more than milestones; we are celebrating legends, memories, and the magic of cinema that has touched hearts for generations. Sholay is more than a film–it라이브 바카라 an emotion, a timeless masterpiece that continues to inspire storytellers and audiences alike. And what better place to honour its legacy than Raj Mandir, a theatre that has been a historical sanctuary for movie lovers for five decades.''

It라이브 바카라 a historic celebration of cinema and culture. IIFA 2025 promises to be an unforgettable homage to the power of storytelling, uniting film lovers in a celebration of the magic that makes Indian cinema so special.”

Sholay starred legendary actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Jaya Bachchan, Hema Malini and Amjad Khan in key roles. The story revolves around the village of Ramgarh, where a former police chief Thakur Baldev Singh (Sanjeev Kumar) hires two outlaws, Veeru and Jai (Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan) to capture a notorious bandit, Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan), who murdered his entire family.

The silver jubilee edition of the awards, will celebrate the cinematic brilliance with honours across 10 categories, including Best Picture, Best Direction, Best Performance in Leading and Supporting Roles (Female and Male), Best Negative Role, Music Direction, and Playback Singer (Male and Female).
