Jaat box office collection day 2: After dismal opening with Rs 9.5 crore on its release day, Sunny Deol starrer Jaat saw drop in its collections. According to early estimates shared by industry tracker, Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 9.5 crore on day 1. On day 2, it earned Rs 7 crore. Jaat's total box office collection in India stands at Rs 16.5 crore.
As per reports, Jaat had about 5585 shows across India on its release day. On the second day of its release, the number of shows reduced to 5141, which impacted the film's box office collections.
Jaat had an overall Hindi occupancy of 14.28% on Thursday, April 10, and 11.19% occupancy on Friday, April 11.
On day 2, night shows had the highest occupancy of 17.46%, while morning shows recorded minimum occupancy of 5.44%.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, trade sources claimed that Jaat's worldwide box office collection was Rs 13 crore, on its opening day. On Friday, Mythri Movie Makers, who backed the film, took to Instagram handle to share its domestic gross box office collection of day 1. They claimed that the film has earned Rs 11.60 crore gross in India on the day of its release.
Sunny Deol has returned to the big screen after his blockbuster Gadar 2, which was released in 2023. Jaat's collections is not anywhere near to Gadar 2. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film opened to positive and mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Let's see, how much it earns in the extended weekend.
