In 2015, Neeraj Ghaywan broke out in Cannes with his debut feature, Masaan. Screened at Un Certain Regard, where it nabbed two prizes, including the FIPRESCI Prize, the film became an instant classic, heralding a star-is-born moment in Vicky Kaushal.
Now a decade later, Ghaywan라이브 바카라 second feature Homebound is slated to premiere in the same section of the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Reportedly starring Ishaan Khatter, the film re-teams Ghaywan with Karan Johar라이브 바카라 Dharma Productions after collaborating on the Netflix anthology Ajeeb Daastaans. Filming wrapped in November 2024.
Coming off a glorious year with Payal Kapadia라이브 바카라 All We Imagine as Light, India has had a sustained presence in the sidebar competition of Un Certain Regard over the years, ranging from Udaan (2010) to Titli (2014) and Manto (2018).
