Despite the hype around Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sikandar, the film failed to live up to the expectations of the audiences. It is also turning out to be a huge box office disaster. The action thriller, which was released on March 30, has faced criticism for weak story and screenplay and poor performances. Due to its lacklustre box office business, several shows of Sikandar are being reportedly cancelled and replaced with other films.
On Day 4, Sikandar witnessed a sharp decline of 50%, from Day 3. It earned only Rs 9.75 crore. Day 4 saw further dip in its collections of about 41%, as it minted only Rs 5.75 crore, as per a report in Sacnilk.
With this, the first week collection of Sikandar stands at Rs 90 crore. Going by the current scenario, chances seem scanty for the film to be able to manage to pick up well in the coming days. However, on Saturday and Sunday, there might be a surge in its collections.
It had an overall 8.24% Hindi occupancy on Thursday. Out of all the shows, the footfall in the morning shows was less- only 4.74%, while the night shows witnessed an occupancy of 10.68%, afternoon shows recorded 8.17% footfall and evening shows saw 9.35% occupancy.
Reportedly, Sikandar's worldwide box office stands at Rs 140.25 crore. However, the movie라이브 바카라 producer, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, has claimed that its global collection has reached Rs 158.5 crore in four days.
Apart from Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, Sikandar also starred Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna in significant roles. Sikandar is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and directed by AR Murugadoss.
