After the successful first part of Kalki 2898 AD, director Nag Ashwin is set to direct the second part. During an event, Ashwin shared major updates on the Prabhas starrer. He revealed that Kalki 2 shoot will start this year itself. Read on to know what he said further.
Nag Ashwin라이브 바카라 directorial debut, Yevade Subramanyam, is set to re-release in theatres on March 21. Ahead of it, he interacted with the media during the film's 10th-anniversary celebration, and also shared some important update on the Kalki 2898 AD sequel. The filmmaker confirmed that the preparations for the sequel are currently underway and filming will begin in December this year.
While talking about Prabhas라이브 바카라 limited screen time in Kalki 2898 AD, he said that the first part focused on establishing the world and the backstories of Sumati (Deepika Padukone) and Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan) to set the stage for Karna (Prabhas).
"The second part will have more of Prabhas, as it will be majorly centred around the Karna and Ashwatthama characters,'' he added.


Kalki 2898 AD is based on Hindu mythology set in a dystopian world, in the city of Kashi. Deepika Padukone played the mother of an unborn divine entity who is said to be Kalki, the avatar of Lord Vishnu. Prabhas plays Bhairava, a bounty hunter, while Kamal Haasan essays the role of Yaskin, the antagonist.
The film also starred Saswata Chatterjee, Disha Patani and Shobana among others. Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, SS Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma and Mrunal Thakur had surprise cameo appearances in the magnum opus.
It was reportedly made on a whopping budget of Rs 600 crore, and crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide.
