War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR is one of the most anticipated upcoming movies. Earlier, leaked pics and videos of Hrithik and Jr NTR from the sets of the film had gone viral on social media, which had doubled the excitement among fans. The production house, Yash Raj Films, confirmed War 2 release date on Sunday, March 16.
When is War 2 releasing?
Reacting to an unofficial promotional asset of War 2 on X, YRF replied, "Must say... you have set it up brilliantly even before we have started our marketing of #War2 ... there will be mayhem in cinemas on 14 August 2025, worldwide... (sic)."

Recently, there were reports of Hrithik Roshan sustaining a leg injury during rehearsals for an intense dance number with Jr NTR. Doctors advised him to rest for four weeks, which halted the film's shooting.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source saying, “Hrithik pushed himself hard during rehearsals. He suffered a niggle in his leg, and after consultation, doctors suggested rest to prevent aggravation. The song, featuring Hrithik and NTR Jr., will now be shot in May. But all principal shoots are complete, and the film is already in post-production. No changes to the release date."
War 2 is the sequel to the 2019 film War, which starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. The sequel is directed by Ayan Mukerji.
It is the fifth film in YRF라이브 바카라 Spy Universe, after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.
It is reported that War 2 will feature Kiara Advani in the female lead role. Shraddha Kapoor is said to have a dance number.
