The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Indian national Harpreet Singh, who was wanted in connection with multiple terror attacks across Punjab on April 18 in the United States. Reportedly, he allegedly collaborated with international terrorist organisations.

FBI Sacramento confirmed the news on its X account, “Today, Harpreet Singh, an alleged terrorist responsible for terror attacks in Punjab, India, was arrested by the FBI & ERO in Sacramento. Linked to two international terrorist groups, he entered the US illegally and used burner phones to evade capture".

It was agents from the FBI's Legal office in New Delhi that informed Sacramento that Singh was wanted in connection with multiple terror attacks across Punjab.

Singh is suspected to have collaborated with Pakistan라이브 바카라 Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Khalistani terrorist group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).

Harpreet Singh was named in the chargesheet by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the September 2024 grenade attack in Chandigarh which targeted the residence of a retired Punjab Police officer, and was part of a conspiracy by the terrorist group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).

According to the NIA he was operating from the US and was one of the chief conspirators behind the attack.

In an operation in December 2023, Punjab Police busted a Pakistan-ISI-backed terror module allegedly run by Happy Passia.

Passia is wanted for 18 criminal cases, all intended to create terror or incite communal tension.

US-based social activist Sukhil Singh Chahal stated that Passia entered the US illegally and lived under the radar for years.

He later states that Happy Passia's arrest sends the message that America is not a sanctuary for for those who threaten global peace or abuse the protections of open societies.
