UK MPs Detained
Israel denied the entry of two British MPs and proceeded to detain them. As per Israeli media, authorities detained Abtisam Mohamed and Yuan Yang and accused them of spreading a "hateful rhetoric" against Israel.
The detention of the Labour MPs was heavily criticised by the UK government and Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
"I have made clear to my counterparts in the Israeli government that this is no way to treat British Parliamentarians," said Lammy, who also called for an end to the growing conflict in Gaza.
Israeli Attacks In Gaza Continue
With no sign of a ceasefire deal, the Israeli military has continued its attacks on the Gaza Strip and expanded its ground invasion.
In a fresh attack in Khan Younis, Israeli strikes have killed nine people, including journalist Islam Maqdad.
In another attack on al-Mawasi, a Palestinian child was among the five killed. As per the UN, Israeli forces have killed and injured 100 Palestinian children since breaking the ceasefire on March 18.
US Strikes Yemen Again
The United States has continued its strikes on Yemen as it targets Houthi areas.
As per the latest reports, US forces bombed the Yemeni island of Kamaran in the Red Sea five times. Furthermore, US strikes also killed and injured more people in the northern province of Saada.
These fresh strikes come a day after US President Donald Trump shared a video captioned "Oops" which showed US forces attacking Yemen and the Houthis.
Israelis Continue Protest For Hostage Release, Ceasefire
As the war in Gaza continues, thousands of Israelis continued to protest for the urgent release of the remaining hostages and a ceasefire in Gaza.
The demand increased after Hamas stated that it wouldn't move hostages to safety if the IDF kept increasing its attacks.
In light of this statement, the Hostages forum has called for an end to hostilities and attacks in the Gaza Strip.
