The body of a Congress worker was found in a suitcase near a bus stand in Haryana's Rohtak. This incident took place a day before the Haryana civic polls. The worker has been identified as 22-year-old Himani Narwal from Kathura village.
Narwal was known for performing with Haryanvi folk artists at Congress rallies and other events. The 22-year-old also participated in Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra.
As per police officials, the Congress worker was likely killed elsewhere and then later stuffed into the suitcase and dumped.
We suspect she was killed elsewhere before her body was stuffed in the suitcase and dumped here. CCTV footage is being analysed to determine when the suitcase was left at the spot,” said Sampla Police Station SHO Bijender Singh.
" The girl has been identified and a case has been registered. Four of our teams are working on it. We will solve this case soon...Postmortem will be done today. We are investigating the case...We don't see a political angle but we are doing our work," he added further.

Following the confirmation of her identity, Congress leaders have expressed their shock and called for a thorough investigation of her murder.
Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda called for a high-level impartial probe, calling the murder a "blot on the state라이브 바카라 law and order."
