A 35-year-old rape accused in Gujarat라이브 바카라 Bharuch district, who was out on bail, committed the same crime again. Shailesh Rathod has been accused of raping a 70-year-old woman, who he raped again for the second time while out on bail for a previous assault.
The latest incidents took place on December 15 and December 22 in the victim라이브 바카라 hut at a farm, Deputy Superintendent of Police PL Chaudhary.
DSP Chaudhary confirmed that Rathod not only committed the heinous acts but also threatened the elderly victim with dire consequences if she spoke out about the assaults. Following this, a fresh FIR was registered at the Amod police station.
Rathod, who was previously arrested 18 months ago for raping the same woman, was released on bail earlier this year. Following the new allegations, police have initiated a manhunt and formed multiple teams from the crime branch and special operations group to locate the absconding accused.
Meanwhile, the district is also mourning the death of an 11-year-old girl who was abducted and raped in an industrial area. The young victim, who had sustained severe internal injuries, had been fighting for her life for a week at a government hospital after being transferred from a local civil hospital in Ankleshwar.
Dr Hitendra Chauhan, the Resident Medical Officer at SSG Hospital in Vadodara, reported that the girl suffered two cardiac arrests during her treatment. Despite efforts to stabilize her condition, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 6:15 PM on Monday.
