The video of a woman beating her mother over property dispute has surfaced on social media platforms. The victim's son has filed a complaint with the Haryana police and claimed that his sister has forcefully kept their mother in her house demanding her property to be transferred to her name.

The video shows a ruthless assault of the older woman while the daughter says she will "drink her blood".

According to an NDTV report the woman has been identified as Rita who resides in Modern Saket Colony of Azad Nagar in Hisar district.

The woman can be heard threatening her mother as she kept beating and a man trying to intervene from outside the room. The daughter reportedly said, "Will you live forever?" as she continued to beat and also accused her mother of making her do this, saying, "You are forcing me to do this."

Reports have quoted Rita's brother Amardeep Singh who has informed the police that she got married two years back and soon after came back to live with her mother.

Later, she brought in her husband to live with her mother as well and started harassing the woman for property.

Singh claimed that Rita asked him not to visit their house and made false allegations against him.

Inspector Sadhuram, Station Head Officer of the Azad Nagar Police station, told NDTV that a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 has been registered against Rita.

Another police official handling the case told India Today “a case has been registered against the accused woman under various sections, including assault and issuing threats to kill.”
