Karnataka: Men Throw Chemical-Laced Holi Colours On 8 School Girls Causing Severe Health Complications

Reportedly, the initial forensic investigations revealed that the colours on the victims contained a mixture of cow dung, eggs, phenol, and synthetic dyes.

A gang of unidentified miscreants threw chemical-laced colours on eight schoolgirls in Lakshmeshwar town in Karnataka라이브 바카라 Gadag district in the name of Holi celebrations leading the victims to be hospitalised after they developed ailments.

The eight girls had unknowingly inhaled and ingested little amount of the chemical-laced colours which caused chest pain and breathlessness right at the bus stop where they were standing.

What Happened?

According to India Today report, the miscreants were a group of bike-borne men who stopped at the bus stop and targeted the school going girls standing there to throw colours at in the name of Holi celebrations.

Soon after throwing the colours at the girls, the men fled the scene.

The victims developed health complications almost immediately like breathlessness and severe chest pain and had to be admitted to a nearby hospital.

Reportedly the initial forensic investigations revealed that the colours on the victims contained a mixture of cow dung, eggs, phenol, and synthetic dyes.

What Did Police Say?

Police have reportedly launched started to look for the accused after special teams were formed for the manhunt.

Some senior police officers visited the hospital and met with the kin of the victims and assured speedy investigation.
