Ailing Subhankar Das Gets Financial Assistance At Event Held At Sourav Ganguly's Residence

On April 18, 2025, a heartfelt event was held at former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly's residence in Kolkata to support Subhankar "Subho" Das, a former promising footballer. Subho has faced immense challenges after suffering a cerebral haemorrhage in 2021 that paralysed his left side, followed by the amputation of his right arm due to a severe infection. Moved by his resilience, friends, well-wishers, and organisations came together to raise ₹125,000 for Subho's medical and living expenses. The event was attended by notable guests, including Sourav Ganguly, Anirban Aditya (Chairman of the Aditya Group), his wife Roshni Aditya (Managing Director), Ankit Aditya (Vice Chairman), and social worker Ashu Singh. Subho, accompanied by his mother and brother, expressed gratitude for the support. This initiative showcases the power of community and compassion in helping those in need.
