The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed on Saturday (May 10) that the men라이브 바카라 national team will proceed with their scheduled two-match T20I series against the United Arab Emirates but has held off on confirming their subsequent tour of Pakistan for a five-match T20I series. The decision comes in light of growing tensions between India and Pakistan, which have already led to the postponement of both the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Bangladesh will face the UAE on May 17 and 19, with both matches scheduled to be played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, starting at 7:00 pm local time. The matches are part of Bangladesh's ongoing efforts to maintain international engagement and ensure quality match preparation.
The series against Pakistan, however, remains uncertain. Originally scheduled from May 25 to June 3, the five-match T20I leg was to follow immediately after the UAE tour. But recent geopolitical developments have forced the BCB to reconsider its travel plans, citing player safety as a top concern.
In a statement released after a board meeting at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, the BCB reiterated its commitment to international cricket but underscored that the well-being of players and support staff remains paramount.
“The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is in active and ongoing discussions with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding the Bangladesh National Team's forthcoming tour of Pakistan,” the statement read.
“All decisions concerning the tour will be made with careful consideration of the current situation in Pakistan, ensuring they align with the best interests of the team and Bangladesh cricket.”
As of now, there is no final decision regarding the Pakistan leg of the tour, and BCB officials are monitoring the regional situation closely before making any commitments.
