After four days of constant firing and drone intrusions, India and Pakistan have agreed to implement an immediate ceasefire. Foreign Scretary Vikram Misri has confirmed that New Delhi has agreed to the truce.
Misri added that both sides will commit to stopping firing on land, in the air and sea with effect from 5 PM onwards on Saturday.
Ahead of the MEA briefing, US President Donald Trump declared that Washington has brokered a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
