Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah are the four players in the A+ category which is the top category and the most financially lucrative. Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan, who had been snubbed from central contracts for last season, have returned to the fold.
Rishabh Pant is the only player who has been promoted. He was in the B category last season and has now taken an A slot.
Apart from Iyer and Kishan, Dhruv Jurel, Sarafraz Khan, Nitish Reddy, Abhishek Sharma, Akash Deep, Varun Chakaravarthy and Harshit Rana are also the new additions in the contract list.
