The 25-year-old is playing his 61st T20I for India and he took just two overs to grab those wickets. Before the match, Singh had 95 wickets under his belt and he took two more to overcome Chahal in the list, who has 96 wickets in 80 T20Is.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav opted to field first in Kolkata after winning the toss and Arshdeep Singh was given the bowl to open the attack. He dismissed the destructive batter Phil Salt in the first over to provide the breakthrough.

Then he came to bowl in the third over and dismissed opener batter Ben Duckett who looked anxious while batting and lost his wicket while playing an aerial shot. Rinku Singh took a fine catch while moving towards the boundary line.
