Seamer Chetan Sharma snared three wickets and Kiran Chormale, Ayush Mhatre bagged two apiece as India bowled out Sri Lanka for 173 runs in 46.2 overs. In reply, the 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi slammed his second successive half-century, a 36-ball 67, as the victors cantered home with 170 balls to spare.

The teenager, who became the youngest cricketer ever to be bought at an Indian Premier League auction last month, smashed five sixes and six fours in his rampaging knock.

India will face Bangladesh in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Toss Update

Viran Chamuditha, the skipper of the Sri Lankan U19 side, won the toss and elected to bat first.

India U-19 side came into this semi-final on the back of two dominating victories over the likes of Japan and UAE, though they did lose their opening match to Pakistan.
