IPL 2025: KKR Claim First Win Of The Season At RR's Expense

Quinton de Kock scored an unbeaten 97 as KKR defeated RR by 8 wickets in their IPL 2025 game on Wednesday. Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane had won the toss and had elected to field first in Guwahati. For KKR, Varun Chakaravarthy (2 for 17) and Moeen Ali (2 for 23) bowled well as they restricted RR to 151/9 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium. Dhruv Jurel was the top-scorer for RR with a 33-run knock off 28 balls. In the chase, KKR got off to a slow start but de Kock's innings always kept them ahead in the game. His 97 came off 61 balls with the help of 8 fours and 6 sixes standings.
