Jadeja achieved this feat in his 242nd IPL match as CSK endured a heavy defeat against RCB in their second home game of the season.
At 36, he is the fifth-highest run scorer for Chennai in the league, behind only MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Faf du Plessis, and current captain Ruturaj Gaikwad.
With a batting average just under 28 and a strike rate near 130, Jadeja has scored over fifty three times in his IPL career, with a highest score of an unbeaten 62.
