Ava Canning continues her spell as Priyanaz takes her on, first guiding one into the gap for a couple of runs, then following it up with a crisp boundary to keep the scoreboard ticking.

Scotland Women put up a competitive total of 268 for 7 in their 50 overs, with captain Kathryn Bryce anchoring the innings with an unbeaten 131 off 137 balls, a knock that held the innings together and provided the platform for a strong finish. She found support from Ailsa Lister, who chipped in with a brisk 27 off 28 balls. Ava Canning was the pick of the bowlers for Ireland, claiming 3 for 48, while Cara Murray picked up 2 wickets. Rachel Slater returns to the attack for her fourth over, having bowled economically so far. She starts off with two tidy deliveries, both pushed into the leg side by Jane Maguire for singles. Scotland keep the scoreboard ticking as they enter the final stretch of their innings.

Kathryn Bryce strikes right away. Ava Canning looked to continue her aggressive intent after striking a boundary earlier in the over, but this time Bryce was spot on.
