Zaman and Mitchell both got out in the 70s but that did not stop Qalandars from posting a massive 201/6 on the board. Hasan Ali was the standout bowler for the Kings as the medium pacer picked up four wickets for 28 runs in his four overs.

Shaheen Shah Afridi then rocked the top order of the Kings with the wickets of David Warner and last match's centurion James Vince within first four balls of the chase. The required run rate kept climbing and wickets kept falling as the Kings were left far behind in the chase. None of their batters could really stand out. Shaheen took three wickets and so did Rishad Hossain. Sikandar Raza also took a couple of wickets for the Qalandars.

Karachi were bowled out for 136 in 19.3 overs and Lahore won the game by 65 runs to triumph in back-to-back games. For Karachi, this is their first loss of the season after they won their season opener in a record chase.
