New Zealand captain Michael Bracewell wins the toss and opted to bowl first. "Looks like a good wicket. We'll look to utilize the bounce that you get here in Hagley and have first use of it," he said. Make it two for Kyle Jamieson. The lanky pacer removes Irfan Khan for one run (1 off 6), caught behind. Once again extra bounce doing the damage. Shadab Khan gives Salman Agha company in the middle.

Kyle Jamieson is relentless. The right-arm pacer from Auckland gets his third in 16 deliveries. Shadab Khan (3 off 6)fishes outside the line, and is caught by a flying Tim Robinson at backward point, reminiscent of Glenn Phillips act. Jamieson's figures now read 3/4.

Salman Agha is the new man for Pakistan in the middle. He joins Salman Agha, who is unbeaten on 7 off 8.

Zakary Foulkes, the local lad, gets his first over. A couple of singles and a wide, and Pakistan now has recorded their second lowest powerplay score in history.

Abdul Samad, of the three Pakistani debutants today, holes out for 7 in 12, caught by Michael Bracewell at long off. Second wicket for Ish Sodhi. Shaheen Afridi in the middle now.

In the previous over, Kiwi skipper Michael Bracewell conceded five singles and completed his spell, 28/0.

PAK - 80/7 in 15.3 overs

Kyle Jamieson returns for final over, and concedes five runs. Still, he ends with figures of 3/8 in four overs. Sensational figures. Pakistan, meanwhile, will look for a fighting total, and a lot will depend on Jahandad Khan, who's batting on 17 off 16.

Jacob Duffy, a domestic giant, misses a hat-trick. New man Mohammad Ali takes a quick single off the second ball. Duffy had earlier dismissed Khushdil Shah and Shaheen Afridi.

The 30-year-old from Southland, however, gets the honour of leading the team off the field after claiming a four-wicket haul (4/14). He had Abrar Ahmed caught at mid-off.

Thus, Pakistan are dismissed for 91 all out in 18.4 overs. The proceedings looked a lot quicker than the actual play.
