The Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team made light work of Pakistan's 117-run target, winning the semi-final encounter by seven wickets in Dubai on Friday (December 6) to surge into the title round of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup 2024. (Highlights | More Cricket News)

Medium pacer Iqbal Hossain Emon scalped four wickets as the Bangladesh colts skittled Pakistan for just 116 runs in 37 overs. In reply, captain Azizul Hakim led from the front, scoring an unbeaten 61 off just 42 balls to guide his team to victory in a mere 22.1 overs, with seven wickets intact.

Bangladesh will meet India, who defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the other semi-final, in the summit clash in Dubai on Sunday.

Toss Update

Pakistan U-19 team batted first after Bangladesh U-19 skipper Md Azizul Hakim Tamin won the toss and elected to bowl in the first semifinal of the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2024 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
