PSL 2025 Opening Ceremony Highlights: Ali Zafar & Co Perform Theme Song 'X Dekho' As Tournament Gets Underway

And that's all with the dazzling PSL 2025 opening ceremony tonight.

The tournament kicks-off with Islamabad United taking on Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Stadium. Islamabad United is led by Shadab Khan wehreas Lahore Qalandars is captained by Shaheen Shah Afridi.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) opening ceremony will take place at 7:30 PM (IST) onwards on April 11 (Friday).

Pakistani stars like Ali Zafar, Abrar-ul-Haq, Natasha Baig, Talha Anjum and the legendary Abida Parveen are set to take stage in the opening ceremony of PSL 2025.

In what comes as a shocking update to the start of PSL 2025, the hotel where the players are currently residing for the tournament, has caught fire. Videos of the hotel covered in smoke have gone viral on social media, and it reportedly took place before the players could leave for the stadium. There is no official confirmation from PCB or the PSL authorities.

The grand event gets underway with legend PAK singer Abida Parveen starting off proceedings.

The next in queue are Pakistan hip-hop sensation 'Young Stunners' as they take the stage to vow the Rawalpindi crowd with their track 'Don't Mind'.

Pakistan's numero uno music sensation Ali Zafar takes stage as he will perform the PSL anthem as well as some of his songs.

Ali Zafar performs the PSL 2025 Anthem titled 'X Dekho' alongside Ali Zafar, Natasha Baig, Talha Anjum & Abrar-ul-Haq. The stars perform the theme song as well as unveil the PSL 2025 trophy along with fireworks.
