All eight games in the UAE Tri-Nation Series 2025, organised by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, will take place at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Before the start of the Tri-Nation Series, Afghanistan A and Ireland A (known as Ireland Wolves) will play a First Class match from 7 to 10 April, which will take place at the Tolerance Oval stadium.
Ireland Wolves have prepared a squad full of high-potential youngsters, led by leg-spinner Gavin Hoey. The 16-man squad also features the pair of Ross Adair and Liam McCarthy, who are fit to play after recent injuries. They are heavily spin-dependent, with Hoey, Cian Robertson, and Scott Macbeth leading the department.
Meanwhile, batter Darwish Rasooli is leading the Afghan side in both red and white-ball matches in this tournament, with Abdul Malik as the vice-captain. The squad, also featuring full internationals like Sediqullah Atal and Zia-ur-Rehman, will be the favourites for this tournament.
