Virat Kohli라이브 바카라 decision to retire from Test cricket with immediate effect on 12 May has shocked the entire cricketing fraternity. One of the best captains and batters in red-ball cricket, Kohli will be a big miss for India, especially with a big series against England coming up in June.

However, Kohli라이브 바카라 decision to call time on his Test career will also mean several missed opportunities for the batter, which, in retrospect, might be a big case for reconsidering the call.

First, let라이브 바카라 have a look at the biggest missed opportunities for Virat Kohli after his Test retirement decision.

1. Elusive 10,000 Runs Club

Virat Kohli ended his red-ball career with 9,230 runs from 123 matches, falling just 770 runs short of the coveted 10,000-run mark – a feat achieved by only a select few Indian batters, including Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Rahul Dravid.

Other Test maestros like Kane Williamson, Graeme Smith, and Younis Khan also reached the 10,000-run club, and it will be a shame that Virat Kohli라이브 바카라 name will not be there. Considering his high average, Virat could very well have achieved the target in a couple of Test tours, but it won’t be so anymore.

2. Surpassing Tendulkar라이브 바카라 Record

This one would have been a bit more difficult than simply reaching the 10,000-run club, as Tendulkar retired with 15,921 Test runs – 6,691 runs more than what Kohli had when calling quits. However, Tendulkar actually played 200 Tests to achieve that figure, while Kohli had 123 Tests under his belt.

Also, Tendulkar played Test cricket until he was 40 years old, while Kohli retired at the age of just 36, even before other legends like Rahul Dravid (39). So, four more years of Test cricket, and Kohli could very well have pushed for the Master Blaster라이브 바카라 record.

3. Most Runs In WTC For India

Another milestone that Kohli will miss out on is becoming the highest run-scorer for India in the World Test Championship (WTC) history. Kohli currently has 2,617 runs in the tournament, just 99 less than top-scorer Rohit Sharma (2,716). Had Kohli opted to continue even for some time more, he could have easily surpassed the mark, considering Rohit announced his retirement on 8 May.

4. Maintaining 50+ Average

This one will hurt Kohli fans the most. The batter once held the distinction of having 50+ averages in all formats of the game, but will end his career with sub-50 averages in both T20I and Tests. After a long-time dip in his Test form, Kohli라이브 바카라 average dropped to 46.85 by the end of his career.

However, a few consistent performances would have pushed his average above the 50-mark, and that would have been a fitting send-off to one of the best batters in red-ball history.

5. Redemption Against England

This one would have been a personal satisfaction for Kohli, who missed out on the 2023-24 home series against England due to personal reasons. A chance to get back at his nemesis, which the English team have proved themselves to be time and again, would have been too good an opportunity to pass up for the number four batter.

Alas, for cricket fans, Kohli seemed to have let that rivalry go, and he won’t be seen leading India라이브 바카라 cavalry on English soil in the June series.
