Virat Kohli's "algorithm" clarification after social media users caught his like on an Instagram post of actor Avneet Kaur has got a life of its own as the Internet is using it to make viral jokes. The Delhi Police too seem to have joined the bandwagon with their post on Instagram on Monday. (More Cricket News)
The Instagram account of Delhi Police on Monday posted a Public Service Announcement telling the drivers to follow traffic rules but the message had a hint of spice.
The post which appeared to be taking a dig at the clarification of Kohli read: “We would like to clarify that while checking our cameras, it appears the algorithm has registered many interactions. It aims to punish the speeders and traffic rule violators. We request that no unnecessary speeding and stunts be done on public roads. Challans will be issued to the violators. Thank you for your understanding."
The caption of the post was also witty. “Our cameras make no mistake in registering interactions with violating vehicles. Follow traffic rules and stay safe," the caption stated.
The message by Delhi Police was on similar lines to the clarification that Kohli had put on his Instagram a few days ago after social media users discovered the like on Kaur's picture.
He had written: “I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding."

The like and the clarification both had triggered a massive wave of reactions on social media.
