1. Monica Seles Vs Steffi Graf In 1992
The 1992 French Open final match between Steffi Graf and Monica Seles remains one of the finest matches in Roland Garros history, as 18-year-old Seles defeated nine-time Grand Slam champion Graf.
Seles, herself a two-time defending champion, showed excellent composure under pressure to take the first set 6-2 with aggressive groundstrokes. Graf levelled with a 6-3 win in the second set, and saved five match points in the third set, but Seles came back to win 10-8 in one of the best clay-court matches ever.
2. Virginie Razzano Upsets Serena Williams In 2012
Still considered the biggest upset in women라이브 바카라 singles history, French wildcard Virginie Razzano, ranked world No. 111 at the moment, toppled Serena Williams in the opening round of the 2012 French Open.
2002 champion Williams was a heavy favourite for the clash, and was poised to close out the match with a 5–1 lead in the second-set tiebreaker, but Razzano refused to buckle. Backed by the home crowd, she stormed back to win 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-3, handing Serena her first-ever first-round exit in a major tournament.
In the process, Razzano became only the second player outside the top 100 to defeat Serena Williams in a WTA main-draw match.
3. Jelena Ostapenko라이브 바카라 Final Win In 2017
Jelena Ostapenko entered the 2017 French Open as a relative unknown, then ranked 47 in the world. However, the 20-year-old ended the tournament as the first unseeded woman in the Open Era to win Roland Garros.
Facing world No. 3 Simona Halep in the final, Ostapenko trailed by a set and 3-0 before having a dream comeback to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, showing exceptional shot-making and recording 54 winners in the final alone.
Ostapenko라이브 바카라 final win was a true Cinderella story, making not only her first Grand Slam title, but her first title of any kind – something unheard of in modern tennis.
4. Jennifer Capriati Vs Kim Clijsters In 2001
The 2001 French Open final between Jennifer Capriati and Kim Clijsters featured one of the most dramatic deciders in Grand Slam history. Capriati, fresh from an emotional comeback and Australian Open title earlier that year, was the favourite against the 19-year-old Belgian debutant.
However, Clijsters, undaunted against her more fancied opponent, bulldozed through the opening set 6-1, but Capriati levelled, winning the second set 6-4. The third set, which was the decider, was an epic contest, lasting a record 22 games, with Capriati winning it 12-10.
It was the last women라이브 바카라 final to stretch to three sets for more than 15 years.
5. Chris Evert Vs Martina Navratilova In 1986
Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova had one of the most celebrated rivalries in women라이브 바카라 tennis, culminating in a third straight final in the 1986 French Open.
World No. 1 Navratilova looked set to claim a second consecutive title after racing to a 6-2 first set, but Evert staged one of the best comebacks to take the next two sets 6-3, 6-3.
The win, considered one of the most exciting final matches in Roland Garros, earned Evert her 18th and final Grand Slam title, and a record seventh French Open crown – something that is unbroken to this day.
