Thailand, with four back-to-back losses, are out of reckoning for a World Cup berth, while West Indies (four points from four games, net run rate of -0.283) are mathematically still in contention. They are competing with Bangladesh (six points from four games, NRR of 1.033) for the final spot on offer.
On the final day of the competition, Bangladesh face the already-qualified Pakistan, after which West Indies will meet Thailand. The Windies will need to win the match by a huge margin and hope for Bangladesh to lose, in order to overtake Nigar Sultana's side and advance to the World Cup.
The six-team tournament features four full members - hosts Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh and Ireland - apart from Scotland and Thailand. The top two teams from the event will confirm their passage for the forthcoming ICC Women's Cricket World Cup in India, to be played in October and November 2025.
